Ok, I started an ESPN fantasy football league. It's gonna be a 16-team league with 2 divisions. Starting rosters will be 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 RB/WR, 1 TE, 1 K and 1 Team Defense/Special Teams. With an additional 6 bench spots.
Scoring is pretty typical. But with an added feature of a head coach spot. It's no big deal, just a little added twist. TD Pass 4 Every 25 passing yards 1 50+ yard TD pass bonus 2 300-399 yard passing game 1 400+ yard passing game 1 2pt Passing Conversion 2 Interceptions Thrown -2 TD Rush 6 2pt Rushing Conversion 2 Every 10 rushing yards 1 50+ yard TD rush bonus 2 100-199 yard rushing game 1 200+ yard rushing game 1 TD Reception 6 2pt Receiving Conversion 2 50+ yard TD rec bonus 2 Every 10 receiving yards 1 Each reception 0.5 100-199 yard receiving game 1 200+ yard receiving game 1 Fumble Recovered for TD 6 Each Fumble 2 Each Fumble Lost -2 Kickoff Return TD 6 Punt Return TD 6 FG Made (50+ yards) 5 FG Made (40-49 yards) 4 FG Made (0-39 yards) 3 Total FG Missed -1 Team Defense / Special Teams 0 points allowed 10 2-6 points allowed 7 7-13 points allowed 4 14-17 points allowed 1 Blocked Punt or FG return for TD 6 Each Interception 2 Each Fumble Recovered 2 Blocked Punt, PAT or FG 2 Each Safety 2 Each Sack 1 Kickoff Return TD 6 Punt Return TD 6 Interception Return TD 6 Fumble Return TD 6 22-27 points allowed -1 28-34 points allowed -4 35-45 points allowed -7 46+ points allowed -10 Head Coach Team Win 3 Team Loss -2 The live draft will be held Sunday, August 30th at 4pm Eastern. The draft order will be picked at random live on The LCS Hockey Radio Show Wednesday, August 26th in order to give teams a few days to figure out strategy. I will just start picking names from a hat and the first name pulled will have the 16th pick until there's only one name left with the number 1 selection. There are 2 divisions, The Dave and The Ed Divisions and as teams are pulled during the draft order they will be alternated between divisions. Between me, 1-9, The Ed, GunsnBiscuits, Lonelyendoftherink and Socnorb we only have 10 spots left. We're only interested in teams that are really gonna pay attention the ENTIRE season. Like I said, only 10 spots left, it's now up to you. Hey Jerry, I'm pretty sure MJA wanted in too. I guess he'll probably let you know on his own, but if you'd hang on to a spot for him too, I'd appreciate it. Seeing as how he is planning on being a major part of my radio show, I'd love to have him represented in the league, and don't want him to miss out if he's away from his computer for a little bit and we get 10 other people signing up.
I like the addition of a head coach spot, that's very interesting, and I've never seen that before in any fantasy league. -------------------- |
